Classification Summary - Union | Picture yourself as a Building Inspector/ Plan Checker with a municipality striving to be the best mid-sized City in North America. Using your related experience, you will examine plans and authorize construction for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, subdivision, lot development, and site grading/drainage work. You will conduct site inspections of works and subdivision development to ensure compliance with BC Building Codes and City approved subdivision bylaws and guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in customer service, conflict resolution, and use a balanced approach and mature judgment in decision making. |
