Purpose of your Position - Non Union
Classification Summary - Union
We are seeking flexible team-players with landscaping and irrigation installation experience to join the Parks labour pool for the 2024 season. Term assignments commencing March through to November.

Duties - Union
Assist crews on irrigation installation and upgrade projects in City parks.
Results and Activities - Non union
Credentials - Union
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience performing general labourer duties
  • Experience in turf grass management and irrigation
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Flexibility and teamwork
  • Driver’s Licence Class 5 (Classes 3 and 1 would be considered an asset)
  • A Level II First Aid Certificate would be an asset

Pay Rate $30.27 plus 14% in lieu of benefits, vacation and statutory holidays
