Classification Summary - Union | The Mechanic Shop Foreman supervises a team of mechanics and other service staff that repair andmaintain a wide variety of fleet cars, trucks and industrial construction equipment, as well as specialized firefighting apparatus and parks machinery. The Foreman plans, organizes and supervisesthe operation of the City’s central mechanical repair and maintenance facility, including coordinating,scheduling and overseeing mechanical and welding/fabrication work that is completed in fieldlocations. |
